3 Characters. 2 Days. 1 Room. Actorsworkshop continued to work on this text, made new discoveries, found new resonance's and pushed the boundaries to make this play as powerful and as important as it was during the premiere in 1991. We focussed this production on work with the cast, developing the characters alongside the actors and the progression was evident as their performances proved. It is from this that we moved towards the creation of a more physical, visceral production.
Production Notes:
A cat and mouse thriller, set just after the fall of General Pinochet in Chile, or any country that's just given itself over to a democratic government. The play explores the lives of Gerado and his wife Paulina, as they come face to face with Roberto Miranda - a man accused of being her torturer fifteen years ago.
