The academy term takes place on Tuesday nights from January 10th, and for ten weeks until March 13th. The ten week course will run from 7.15-9.15pm each Tuesday night in Chapter Art Centre’s 1st Space.
A place to build key skills in acting, theatre and performance! The sessions will cover areas such as:
- Sight reading
- Textual analysis
- Rehearsal techniques
- Acting styles
- Improvisation methods
The course will lead participants through a series of practical workshops which delve into the process of acting. Participants will experience a range of acting techniques, concepts and ideas with a chance to try these out using new and established pieces of text. A relaxed place to try out new skills, meet like-minded individuals and have a lot of fun along the way!
Entry to this course will be by application form followed by successful applicants being invited in for an informal chat with the team.
